Start Q2 with intention (not overwhelm)
Happy Tuesday!
Q1 is officially a wrap — can you believe it? Whether it flew by or felt like a marathon, this is your moment to pause, reflect, and realign.
I might not come from a corporate background, but I’ve grown to love thinking in quarters — it gives my goals a sense of urgency and momentum, without feeling overwhelming. It’s also more manageable than trying to stay focused on year-long goals the whole time.
So, if you’d like to do a bit of reflecting alongside me, block out 20 minutes in your schedule and complete this:
Quarterly Business Reset: Reflect + Refocus
Time needed: 15–20 minutes
Grab a notebook or your Notes app, a warm drink, and give yourself a moment to check in.
Part 1: Reflect on Q1
Look back with honesty and curiosity — not judgment.
1. What specific actions or strategies moved the needle most in my business this quarter?
(Where did you get the most traction or return?)
2. What challenges did I face, and what did I learn from them?
(This is about extracting wisdom, not dwelling on what didn’t work.)
3. Where did I experience growth — in mindset, skill, visibility, or revenue?
(Celebrate progress, not just outcomes - every single win counts!)
Part 2: Set Intentions for Q2 (01 April - 30 June 2025)
Look ahead with clarity and intention.
1. What is the single most important business goal I want to achieve by the end of Q2?
(Choose one that also aligns with your 2025 vision.)
2. What specific outcome or milestone will let me know I’ve achieved it?
(Get clear on what success looks and feels like.)
3. What will I need to focus on or let go of to make it happen?
(Name the priorities — and the distractions.)
Doing this ritual now can stop you from sprinting into Q2 on autopilot — and help you move forward with clarity, purpose, and a lot less noise.
I’ve just completed my own 20-minute Quarterly Ritual, and it’s brought me so much clarity on:
✅ Where I am right now
✅ The progress I’ve made in 2025 so far
✅ What I need to focus on for the next 3 months
I really encourage you to carve out just 15–20 minutes to complete it. It’s a small commitment, but it will help your mind hone in on your priorities and cut through the overwhelm.
